Role Description
Due to an internal promotion, Lewis Builders Ltd are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join our team. This permanent role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced plumbing and heating engineer, looking to take the next step in their career and step into a leadership position.
As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing small works, installations, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works, while collaborating closely with the wider construction team. You will lead a dedicated team of plumbers, coordinating day-to-day activities, ensuring material availability, and maintaining our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise & Lead: Coordinate plumbing employees, providing technical guidance and support on site when required.
- Work Planning: Plan and allocate daily work activities, coordinating plumbing activities with internal trades and external clients.
- Logistics & Material: Order materials and ensure all necessary tools, plant, and equipment are available when needed.
- Estimating: Price small plumbing works.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor workmanship and ensure works comply with safety regulations and procedures.
This is a permanent position working 41 hours per week.
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
- Experience working as a Plumber.
- Strong knowledge of domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
