Family Notices

Mary Munro
Newmarket
The family of the late Mary Munro would like to thank everyone most sincerely for the love, kindness and support shown to them following the sad loss of their beloved Mother, Sister, and Nana.
Your visits, messages, cards, donations and words of comfort have meant more than we can say. To all who attended the funeral service, travelled to be with us, or helped quietly in the background, please know how deeply appreciated your thoughtfulness has been.
A collection in Mary’s memory raised £700, which will be given evenly to Crossroads and the SSPCA with the family’s grateful thanks.
We would also like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff involved in Mary’s care during her short illness, for their kindness, compassion and dedication. In particular, the staff in the Western Isles Hospital, the Hospital at Home Team and the wonderful carers from the S.T.A.R.T Team.
Our sincere thanks also go to the undertakers, Archibald Macrae’s, for their compassion, professionalism and care in guiding us through the arrangements with such kindness and respect.
We are also very grateful to the Reverend Calum Macleod, who conducted the funeral service, and to Murdo Iain Macleod and the office bearers who assisted, for the comforting service.
At such a difficult time, it has brought us great comfort to know that Mary was loved and remembered by so many. We will always be grateful for your kindness and support.
