Frances Macleod
The family of the late Frances Macleod would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support during Frances’ illness and following their sad loss.
Special thanks to the MacMillan Nurses and also the Community Nurses for their exceptional care of Frances and wonderful support to the family.
Sincerest thanks to the Rev James Maciver, Rev Calum Smith, Rev Kenny I Macleod, Rev Jonathan Baxter and Elders Torquil Macleod and Murdo Martin, for their unfailing love and devotion throughout Frances illness, for their prayers and for officiating at the funeral service.
Many thanks to the Undertaker, Archibald Macrae and Bragar Cemetery attendants for their professionalism throughout.
Finally, many thanks to all who came to pay their last respects and who contributed to a collection of £1500 for the Western Isles Cancer Care Initiative.
William John Macleod
The family of the late William John Macleod (Willie Dol), 16 Knock, Point would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Medical Wards 1 and 2 and Macmillan Nurse who cared for Willie during his stay in hospital.
Thanks also to Rev Iain Thomson, Garrabost Free Church for funeral service, elders, Catriona and ladies for providing refreshments, A Macrae, Funeral Directors for their professional services and Norman Mackenzie for his help at cemetery.
Thank you also to everyone who telephoned, sent cards and attended funeral service. Sincere thanks to everyone.

The cost for a family notice is £50+VAT for the decorated displays which you can see in use on https://www.welovestornoway.com/index.php/family-notices
So that’s £60 in total.
You will be invoiced by email. You can pay via Internet banking, over the phone by card, by cheque in the post, etc.
To complete the invoicing and ensure that we can contact you with any queries, could you please supply a postal address and a contact telephone number along with the text of the notice.
We will send you a proof first by email to make sure you are happy with the display before it goes on the website.
Family notices can stay on-line as long as you wish. Normally people choose that they stay on for a month, we find, so that’s become our default setting.
