Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team is planning an ‘open hill day’ at the end of the month to help swell its ranks.

The event on Saturday (31 October) is to enable potential volunteers to meet the team, learn more about mountain rescue while enjoying some unique island scenery.

The Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team says the open hill day is a chance to get involved for those who love the outdoors and wish to learn new skills and work in a team.
