Weather disrupting ferry travel has forced a second cup match involving Barra FC to be postponed.

The Park Bar Cup fixture scheduled for yesterday (Saturday, October 11) was scrapped after the Barra-Eriskay ferry was tied up due to the sea conditions.

A rescheduled match date pitting Barra FC, the league winners, against a Uist and Barra Football Association Select team will be announced in due course.

The last silverware of the season, the Park Bar Cup, was inaugurated last year, and Barra FC will be keen to make up for their 3-6 defeat this time around.

Last month’s MalCivils Cup final between Barra FC and Back FC was called off due to bad weather. It will now take place next year.
