Low staff numbers have led to temporary closures of Daliburgh Branch Surgery from Monday (12 October).
The Surgery will be temporarily closed on Mondays from next week for a number of weeks, providing an opportunity to allow newly appointed staff to undertake essential training.
This temporary change will ensure services can continue to be delivered safely and effectively. The surgery will continue to operate as normal on Thursdays.
Prescriptions will be available for collection from Branch surgery on Thursdays between 9am and 1pm. To ensure prescriptions are ready for collection, patients are encouraged to order their repeat prescriptions in advance, allowing the usual five working days’ notice.
Benbecula Medical Practice will remain open as normal throughout this period, with appointments available both in person and by telephone consultation for patients who require medical advice or treatment.
NHS Western Isles apologises for any inconvenience this temporary change may cause and have thanked patients for their cooperation, understanding and continued support during this period.
