A local village is enjoying the joke and the sense of mystery as its road signs seem to have fallen foul to a "Phantom Prankster".
Residents of Point have noticed a strange but amusing event throughout the village as some road signs had been flipped around, changing directions of traffic, and another local village being introduced into the community.
On Wednesday 29 July, it was published on the Point/An Rubha Noticeboard page on Facebook, with confused residents asking if anyone had an answer to the mysterious change in road signs.
One user pointed out a “Welcome to North Tolsta” sign had been placed just past the Sheshader junction, heading from Shulishader to Aird.
Another amused resident called the jokester behind the situation the “Phantom Prankster”, pointing out at least two road signs that had been flipped upside down.
WLS visited Point after hearing of the situation and noticed two road signs flipped around. One in Shulishader and another in Aiginis.

While it’s still undisclosed who has flipped the signs or why, residents seem to be finding the event amusing and are sharing when they find a sign with a new look.
