Mental health first aid training is being offered on Barra later this month by NHS Western Isles.

The two-day course at Garadh a'Bhagh a' Tuath in Northbay will take place over Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27 and 28.

Open to all, the course will show what to do in a mental health crisis, how to recognise when a person might need help, teach basic suicide intervention skills, and how to protect your and others' mental health.
