SAC Consulting Highlands and Islands are holding a fluke and sheep scab prevention and control information event on Tuesday, October 20.

It will be held at Castlebay Community Centre at 7pm, where Phillip Skuce and Gillian Mitchell from the Moredun Research Institute will explore issues relating to both fluke and sheep scab.

They will discuss current research updates and disease control strategies, how to reduce unnecessary treatment costs and minimise the development of parasite resistance and opportunities to work together on future initiatives.

This is a free event, but booking is essential.
