Balivanich school dinner lady Dechen Coleman has done it again, with another marathon under her belt just a month after her London Marathon exploits.

Dechen was again waving the flag for North Uist Amateur Athletics Club, and this time it was in the Scottish capital for the Edinburgh Marathon.

But there’s no let-up in sight for Dechen as she takes part in the Benbecula Half Marathon on Saturday morning (May 30).

North Uist Amateur Athletics Club congratulated their club member on her recent long-distance achievement and hoped she could enjoy a few days of well-earned rest before lining up again at the weekend.

Dechen’s London Marathon race has so far raised £760 for North Uist Amateur Athletics Club. Her online appeal is still live at JustGiving.com.
