Eilean Dorcha Festival has unveiled Skerryvore as its first headline act for next year’s musical extravaganza on the Lionacleit machair.

The announcement, which was well-received by music fans and delighted the organisers, who said: “We are beyond excited to announce SKERRYVORE as our first headline act for the 10th Anniversary of the Eilean Dorcha Festival in 2026.

“Epic in sound, intimate in feeling and rooted in Scotland while reaching audiences across the globe, Skerryvore are in a league of their own. Three-time winners of Scotland’s Live Act of the Year, their high-energy, genre-blending performances have ignited festival crowds everywhere from the West Coast halls of Scotland to stages across the UK, Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia.

“With soaring melodies powered by pipes, fiddles, whistles and accordions — driven by rock-solid drums, bass, keys, guitar and vocals — Skerryvore deliver an electrifying live show that has to be experienced! Their chart-topping album Tempus cemented their status as one of Scotland’s most exciting modern bands, and EDF 2026 is set to be something truly special.

Also confirmed are new fan favourites, Tumbling Paddies, EDF stalwart George Bowie, Iona Fyfe, ABBA tribute band VOYAGE, Siobhan Miller, Torridon, and Elephant Sessions.
