The MA Music and the Environment provides an excellent foundation for musicians to develop new paths for their creative entrepreneurial activity. This MA equips musicians to enable the sustainability of their creative enterprises and is accredited with the Scottish Institute for Enterprise. Students work within their own community, establishing effective and successful contributions to the creative economy.
The MA Music and the Environment is ‘off-campus’ meaning that you can study from anywhere either full time or part time. Students are part of a diverse study community predominantly spread across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and complimented by international students who offer a wider perspective and context for the understanding of the creative industries. The course also attracts working professionals within the industry who can gain entry via their professional experience.

Full time and structured Part time options available. SAAS funding for fees and loans is available for eligible part-time and full-time students.
