Position: General Assistant
Location: Caladh Inn, Stornoway
Job Type: Full time permanent position
Salary: £25,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our friendly team at the Caladh Inn.
This role is an excellent starting point for anyone wanting to start a career in hospitality, or for an individual that is looking to develop and progress their current career. Working across multiple departments within the hotel you will grow your skills across Food and Beverage and Front Office teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- To ensure that yourself and the team consistently deliver outstanding hospitality,
- Assist in the training and mentoring of staff members, identifying training needs and implement accordingly,
- Ability to develop customer relations and manage, record and resolve guest enquiries and complaints,
- to contribute towards the overall success of the business by maintaining agreed standards and exceeding guest expectations,
- Engaging fully with all departments and management as required.

- Self-motivated, intuitive with a positive personality,
- Ability to multi-task and deal with several requests at any one time,
