Strong local knowledge of the Western Isles/Outer Hebrides is a major advantage.
Good grasp of regional and national political scene in Scotland would be a great asset.
Ability to research and write both carefully and fast; and take photographs while pursuing stories, is a key requirement.
Being qualified and able to drive is essential, as is access to a car.
