Shappi Khorsandi celebrates her fortieth anniversary of arriving in Britain 

With whip-crack jokes and razor-sharp wit, an evening with comedian Shappi Khorsandi is one not to be missed.

And Shappi is stopping off in Stornoway as the star of Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News for You, and Q.I is back with brand new show 'Oh My Country!'.

The Iranian born comedian and author is celebrating the fortieth anniversary of her arrival in Britain and taking a look at the UK, from Morris Dancing to Morrissey. She's reclaiming patriotism and sending a love letter to her adopted land.

Best selling author of 'A Beginners Guide to Acting English', Shappi's debut novel 'Nina is not okay' was published in July by Ebury; and she has most recently been elected president of the British Humanist Society.

Shappi has whip-crack jokes and is effortlessly funny as she handles every subject with a razor-sharp wit, softened only be her deliciously mischievous delivery and endless charm.
