Winter evening classes in Barra are set to begin at the end of October.
First up is the eight-week art class in Castlebay School, which begins on Tuesday, October 27. This is an opportunity to experiment with a range of styles and mediums.
An eight-week textiles course kicks off on Wednesday, October 28 in the UHI Barra Learning Centre. This course embraces sewing and felting, and allows attendees to bring along a project or start a new one from scratch. Sewing machines are available.
The third option is a seven-week pottery course beginning Thursday, November 5 at Castlebay Hotel. Learn to throw a pot and make creations for your own home.
The classes are open to all over 16 and no experience is required. Each class take place between 6 pm and 8 pm and costs £5.
