Marine Accident Investigators are carrying out an investigation into the death of North Uist deckhand Shaun Shepherd, who died after falling into the sea off Stromness, Orkney.

Shaun, 22, was pronounced dead after he fell overboard in Scapa Flow on 23 July this year.

He had been working on the Laurence Knight, a 14.9m fish farm service vessel belonging to Inverlussa.

A report by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch confirmed Shaun's death was "under investigation".
