Taigh Chearsabhagh arts centre in Lochmaddy is on the hunt for new trustees and potentially a new chair to join its management board.

The award-winning arts centre is on the lookout for volunteer trustees to “help shape the future of one of Scotland’s most distinctive centres for arts, heritage and Gaelic culture.”

The arts centre is particularly keen to strengthen its board with people who have experience or insight in one or more areas, including:

* Chairing or governance
* Human Resources
* Financial management
* Youth work
* Scottish history and heritage
* Artistic practice with an international perspective.

Says Taigh Chearsabhagh: “We also welcome applications from people who are passionate about culture and community. Previous board experience is helpful but not essential.”

Further information on the role of trustee is available on the Taigh Chearsabhagh website.
