Pudsey Bear and Big Bear Voyage 2026 had a wonderful time in Stornoway during the past week, the team tells welovestornoway.com

The team says: "We spent several days on the island and got a wonderful welcome from all.

Cleaning up the shores the Inner Harbour

"Pudsey Bear visited the Woodlands Cafe @ Lews Castle and had a paw in supervising a beach clean with Clean Coast Outer Hebrides.

"We also had a very successful fundraising at the HS-1 Cafe for BBC Children in Need.

"At the Islander Shellfish fishmongers, pre-school children from Stornoway Playgroup met Pudsey in person. There were lots of laughs and smiles.

"From the moment Stornoway Port Authority staff met us in the marina…the reception for the Big Bear Voyage 2026 team throughout our stay was overwhelming."

They have now raised more than £36,700 - 52% of their total target for BBC Children in Need – focusing on the importance of raising awareness for children's mental health. Before arriving in the Islands, they were at 40% of their £70,000 target.

And after all that fun, Pudsey, Big Bear Voyage and the crew set off for Loch Eriboll on the way to Scrabster and Wick.
