Due to adverse weather and sea conditions, the Oban ferry will depart early today (Monday, February 19) and have a longer passage to Castlebay via Hyskier.

The amended timetable is as follows:

Depart Oban – 0915 ( early 1200)
Arrive Castlebay – 1515 (early 1735)

CalMac advises that the service remains liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice. The 1840 departing Lochboisdale to Castlebay is cancelled.

As previously reported, the delay in the annual overhaul programme means MV Isle of Mull temporarily fills the breach on the Castlebay-Oban route.

Tuesday, February 20
Depart Castlebay - 0550
Arrive Oban - 1125

The vessel will then operate for the remainder of the day to Craignure.

Wednesday, February 21

Arrive Castlebay - 1755

Before departure to Castlebay, the vessel will operate to Craignure. The 0550 departing Castlebay to Oban and the 1800 departing Castlebay to Lochboisdale are cancelled.

Thursday. February 22
Depart Castlebay - 0525
Arrive Oban - 1100

The vessel will then operate for the remainder of the day to Craignure. The 1840 departing Lochboisdale to Castlebay is cancelled.
