Goathill Park in Stornoway will once again hit the big time on Saturday, July 1, as Highland League team Nairn County FC play the Western Isles International Island Games  Men's Football Team with the kick-off at 6pm.

The WIIGA Men's Team say they are delighted to welcome Nairn County to Stornoway for a friendly game ahead of the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey (which starts on 8 July).

Nairn County, established in 1914, are a top Highland League side with some very experienced players.  They will provide a real challenge to the WIIGA team with players like Ross Tokely and Conor Gethins likely to take to the field at Goathill.

Organisers ask that fabs arrive in good time before the kick off and to park responsibly around the ground.

Please use various car parks that are within walking distance of the ground.

You can pay at the gate, snacks and drinks will be available, and half-time raffle prizes too.
