Visual artist and painter, Jac Volbeda and his daughter, Senna are hosting an informal drop-in at Bagh Alluin, Baleshare to view their art.

The open house/studio is scheduled for Saturday, July 15.

Jac, the owner of the Bagh Alluin B&B, has lived in Baleshare for 20 years and been an artist for over four decades, so he sees the open day as a special celebration.

Says Jac: “My paintings are expressive and contemporary art inspired by the Western Isles. I have exhibited all over the world, but now predominantly sell through welcoming visitors to my home and studio. My daughter Senna is a health and safety advisor but enjoys making art in her spare time and creates mixed medium landscape impressions.

“This is an informal drop in event for you to come and browse artwork in person, meet me and my family, enjoy a wee drink and some chat!”

Senna and husband Scott have recently relocated to North Uist, with their young son, Torran.
