The Cross Inn has been shortlisted as a regional finalist in this year’s National Pub & Bar Awards.

The north Lewis hostelry is up against the Ben Nevis Bar in Fort William and The Cross Keys in Kippen, Stirlingshire.

A total of 31 of the best pubs in Scotland are competing for regional titles and the chance to go forward to the UK-wide awards.

The annual awards highlight the contribution pubs make to the hospitality industry.

The establishments shortlisted will find out who is going home with a regional title as well as the overall winner of the National Pub & Bar of the Year accolade.

Hundreds of bars entered the awards by outlining their operation and summarising many areas including design, training, team welfare, sustainability, food, drink, and marketing.

At the grand final, other awards will be presented including the Pub Brand of the Year, Bar Brand of the Year, Pub Chef of the Year and Sustainable Pub & Bar of the Year.
