An estimated £1000 was raised yesterday (Saturday, September 16) by the North Tolsta to Stornoway Alzheimer’s Scotland Memory Walk.
Tolsta sisters, Maureen Macleod and Erica Murray, were stepping out to raise awareness of the work carried out by the charity’s Western Isles branch based in the Taigh Shìphoirt development at Goathill, Stornoway.
They were joined at Tong by Erica’s seven-year-old daughter, Amber, and dog, Lola, for the final leg of the 13-mile walk.
