Iochdar Community Council’s Ebikes are ready to go out on loan over the summer, it has been announced.

Anyone aged 18 or over living in the community council area - South Ford to Stilligarry - can borrow an Ebike for a month.

Explains Iochdar Community Council: “There is no charge, just a returnable deposit to pay, and the E-bike needs to be kept secure and indoors when not in use.

“Priority will be given to first-time users, but if you have borrowed one of our bikes before, you can still get in touch and put your name on the list.”

Interested cyclists are asked to send a private message to the community council’s Facebook page.

An Ebike is a bicycle with an integrated electric motor to assist propulsion.
