There are a handful of places left for a women’s bike ride this Sunday (June 11) being staged as part of British Cycling’s Breeze programme.

The 17.1-mile ride is the Committee Road loop returning via Balranald and leaves from the Bayhead Shop at 10.30 am.

It will be at a “social pace” to ensure no one gets left behind and is free to book via letsride.co.uk. The estimated riding time is two hours and ten minutes, with a total hill climb of 561 feet (171 metres).

The west coast route has scenic views, with a pit stop at the Dunes Cabin and a brief visit to the Bird of Prey Trail.
