The motorcyclists’ Midge Biters Rally later this month has selected the British Heart Foundation as its charity beneficiary.

The rally event takes place over Friday and Saturday next week (June 16 and 17) with a packed programme of music and events. The highlight is the ride out leaving Stornoway Golf Club at 1 pm.

Entertaining the fundraising bikers are Blitzer, Uncle Ethan, Trouble Is, and Broken Ravens.

Registration opens at 1 pm on June 16 at the golf club. All tickets this year are paid at the door.

The Midge Biters Rally Facebook page says: “It’s going to be a fantastic weekend, and we look forward to seeing you all there. All profits go to charity, and this year is the British Heart Foundation which means a lot to us.”
