Southend Community Hall has received £2,000 from the Sealladh na Beinne Mòire Community Fund to upgrade their equipment.
The money has been spent on a new fridge and floor cleaner to help improve the facility for the community and help volunteers who manage and maintain the hall.
The committee that runs the hall in Daliburgh commented: “Thanks to receiving funding from the Sealladh na Beinne Mòire Community Fund, we were able to purchase a new fridge for the bar area and a floor scrubber which should make a big difference to how easy it will be to keep the hall clean. We are delighted to have been able to make some upgrades to our equipment in the hall.”
The next deadline for applications to the Stòras Uibhist community fund is Tuesday, June 6.
