Footgolf - the unlikely marriage of football and golf - returns to Askernish Golf course for Easter.

Four footgolf sessions, taking place between 11 am and 1 pm, are planned for groups of four.

The footgolf kicks (tees) off next Tuesday (April 4) and again on Thursday, April 6.

Two further sessions are planned for Tuesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 13.

Footgolf is defined as a sport in which players kick a football into a cup in as few shots as possible. However, it is more closely related to golf than football.

The Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG) established the official rules in 2013.
