Fortnightly health walks that are dementia-friendly are being launched on Grimsay.
They will take place on Wednesdays from 11 am to noon on and around Grimsay.
The walk leader is Anne Wilson, and the meet-up point will be Ceann na h-Àirigh, Grimsay.
Health Walks are increasingly popular across the islands and are short, guided walks adapted to suit the needs of the walkers. The walks are free; only comfy footwear is required.
The walks around Grimsay will be on roads, tracks and sometimes over the sand at low tide. In bad weather, strength and balance exercises will be in the centre’s activity room instead.
