Lyme disease researchers have launched a survey to help develop solutions to manage ticks and tickborne disease risk in the Western Isles.
The ten-minute questionnaire is open to residents throughout the Western Isles and can be accessed here.
Research into ticks and Lyme disease in the Western Isles has been ongoing for several years involving the University of Liverpool, the University of Glasgow, NHS Western Isles and NatureScot.
The survey asks respondents about their experience with ticks, needs, and priorities on solutions and control measures.
The survey results will help guide the future direction of research, which is best placed to reduce risks to people and livestock in the Western Isles.
