Telecoms mast upgrade

WHP Telecoms Ltd has notified the Comhairle of a proposed permitted development planned for the telecommunications mast at Howmore.

The proposed works at the 12-metre-high lattice tower involve removing the existing antenna and replacing it with a 600 mm dish and ancillary works. The existing cabin on-site is to be utilised for the upgrade.

Erect an agricultural building

A prior notification regarding the erection of an agricultural building at 217A Stoneybridge has been received by the Comhairle.

The applicant, Cameron John MacInnes, of 217B Stoneybridge, plans to build a 22 x 12-metre steel structure.

Erect a house

In principle planning consent is being sought to erect a house and garage at 415A Smerclete.

The applicant is David Anderson, ℅ MacIsaac Builders Ltd., 7A East Kilbride, who wishes to build on an 1170 square metre plot at the address.

Change of land use

Planning permission is being sought to change land use at 8 Bornish to allow the siting of an accommodation pod.

The applicant, Anne-Marie Storrar, of Main Street, Bonnybridge, wishes to site a holiday-let glamping pod with landscaped garden, picnic area and space for car parking.

The site was previously occupied by a disused agricultural Implement shed that was demolished in 2022.

Erect an agricultural shed

A prior notification for the erection of an agricultural shed at 138 Stilligarry has been received by the Comhairle.

The applicant, John Macdonald, of the same address, wishes to erect an 18 x 9 metre shed to house cows during the calving season.
