Extend a house

Planning consent is being sought to extend the dwelling at 218 Stoneybridge.

The applicant, Dr Annette Simpson, of the same address, wishes to add an extension to the property to create a dining room.

Mast upgrade

Telefonica UK has informed the Comhairle of plans to upgrade the mast at the Askernish Radio Station under permitted development.

The company proposes installing electronic communications apparatus/development ancillary to the existing infrastructure. The work comprises removing the existing antenna and steelwork and replacing three antennas at a mean height of 25.9 metres to be mounted via WIG face frames fixed to tower legs.
