NHS Western Isles is holding a Digital Projects Information event in Daliburgh on Thursday 23 March.
This is in addition to the main Digital Fayre event in Stornoway on Tuesday February 28.
Funded by Interreg Europe, the event offers an opportunity for Health and Social Care staff and members of the public to drop in to out to find out more information and to join in discussions around digital research and innovation.

In the morning Martin Malcolm, Head of Public Health Intelligence and Information Services, NHS Western Isles, will give an overview of the Interreg funded projects his team has recently been involved in and share outcomes of completed projects.
There will then be a session involving innovative business start-up Kindspace, winners of the UK IT4anxiety Hackathon 2022 with a demonstration of their work and information on how to get involved in their current research.
There is growing evidence that technological solutions can expand and complement conventional medical protocols. Technological innovations offer exciting new perspectives for healthcare. NHS Western Isles Research and Innovation projects are collaborations between mental health professionals, users and small and medium enterprises and start-ups, and also involve universities, research centres, higher education establishments and public authorities Projects focus on development and trialling of innovative solutions, using digital technology that is designed to support a person with lived experience of anxiety. The potential solutions created will also be designed with an aim to aid carers and mental healthcare professionals in their roles.
The event opens at 11am in the Borrodale Hotel, South Uist, with the first presentation on current digital mental wellbeing projects taking place at 11.15am. There will be an introduction to the IT4Anxiety project at 11.45am, and demonstrations from start-ups at 12.15pm. A drop-in opportunity to meet with and ask questions to the NHS Western Isles Research and Innovation team will take place between 1.15pm to 3pm. A light lunch will be provided. The NHS Western Isles Research and Innovation team would be pleased to meet with interested parties to share information, discuss these topics and answer any questions.
