Rowing the Atlantic is an undertaking consigned to the realms of fantasy for most people.
But not for ex-RAF officer and new Grimsay resident Emma Wolstenholme.
And later this month, she will share her exciting adventures on her solo Atlantic rowing challenge in Ceann na h-Àirigh & Grimsay Boat Haven’s latest TALK ON TUESDAY instalment.
Announcing the latest guest on the talk show, the community centre manager, Matthew Topsfield, said: “Emma is a wonderfully engaging speaker and will delight and amaze us with the stories she has to share.”
Emma trained for her Atlantic row in the waters off Vallay island.
Her rowing adventure raised £92,000 for the Air Cadets movement and has inspired the next generation as their Honorary Ambassador.
Emma will be guesting on Tuesday, February 28, at 7.30 pm. The talk is by donation and includes refreshments.
