Anne Charlesworth won the week’s luxury holiday accommodation in the Eriskay Historical Society’s prize draw last night (Wednesday January 25).

The fundraiser for the heritage and community hub in the former Eriskay School raised £5,235, more than two and half times the original £2,000 target.

Announcing the winner, Comann Eachdraidh Eirisgeidh said they were “absolutely overwhelmed and delighted” by the support.

Congratulating the winner, Michael Mackinnon, who donated the week at Conan Mara, wished her a lovely time on Eriskay and added there was still plenty of availability for 2023 and 2024.
