NHS Western Isles is seeking to raise awareness about ticks and Lyme disease with two drop-in sessions and a public meeting.

The events will be an opportunity to learn about the current situation and the epidemiological research undertaken by the Universities of Glasgow and Liverpool.

The drop-in sessions are on Wednesday, February 22, between 10 am and 2 pm at Taigh Chearsabhagh, Lochmaddy, and on Thursday, February 23, between 10 am and 2 pm at Cnoc Soilleir, Daliburgh.

For those who can’t make the daytime drop-ins, there is a public meeting in Balivanich Hall on Wednesday, February 22.

Representatives from the University of Glasgow, the University of Liverpool and NHS Western Isles will attend the public meeting.
