Two new breastfeeding support drop-in sessions start in local island libraries next week.

Breastfeeding support and information from trained volunteers will take place each Tuesday in Stornoway Library between 1.30 and 3.30 pm.

And each Wednesday, sessions will be held in Liniclate Library between 10.30 am and 12 pm.

Says Western Isles Breastfeeding Support: "Do you have questions about breastfeeding your new, or impending, baby? Or maybe you've hit a bump in the road feeding your older baby or toddler?

"Pop into one of our new drop-in sessions at your local library for breastfeeding information and support from our trained volunteers. A cuppa and an empathetic ear await."
