Ness FC Social Club has this month launched a website www.nesssocialclub.co.uk to share information with members and friends about the Club events, membership and news.
The Club already has a good presence on social media and this has been boosted over the last few years with the successful online bingo and quiz events over the Covid lockdown period.
With restrictions a distant memory and members delighted to be back in the Club, the time was right to expand the online presence.
Chair Maggie MacKay said, “We are delighted to launch the website and hope it will be well used. I would encourage everyone to visit the website- whether they are existing members or interested in applying for membership. There is something for everyone.”
Club committee member John 'Plum' Morrison developed the website, with input from Club members, community historians and those at Ness FC – with a page on the website also dedicated to the football club.
Maggie continued, “The intention is for the website to continue to evolve. It will include details of future events and share photos of the many enjoyable events the Club hosts. If anyone has photos from any time over the 43 years of the Club, it would be great to hear from them.”
The website also includes details of how to pay the annual membership, which is now due for 2022.
