The wealth of talent in the district of Pairc will be showcased at a Christmas craft fair next weekend (Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November).
Artists, crafters and makers from all over South Lochs will be showing their work at the Ravenspoint 'Made in Pàirc' event, open both days between 11am and 4pm.
The emphasis of the event is on the diverse and unique array of beautiful products, hand-crafted gifts and art produced in Pairc by the people who live and work there.
From hand-painted and decorated reclaimed wood, to wonderfully crafted rag dolls, fine silver jewellery, Christmas cards and bird boxes, there is something for everyone.
Adding to the entertainment will be a bottle tombola – where everyone wins – and of course refreshments, including home-baking and hot sausage and bacon rolls.
Entry to the event is free, with donations and proceeds from the raffle going towards improvements for Ravenspoint, the community centre in the heart of the South Lochs.
Last year a considerable amount of money was raised to help fund the cost of the new roof for the community shop, museum, tearoom and hostel.
