The JustGiving appeal for wreaths and the upkeep of the war memorials at Cross and Borve has smashed its £500 target.

At the time of writing, 23 people had donated a total of £600.

If you wish to make a cash donation instead, you can do so at Comunn Eachdraidh Nis in North Dell or use the donation boxes at the Remembrance services.

The Cross war memorial Remembrance service and wreath-laying are on November 12.

The Borve service and wreath-laying take place on November 13.
