Two free guided walks to explore the mushrooms that grow in Lews Castle Grounds are being staged, thanks to funding from the Heritage Fund.

Stornoway Trust is organising the walks on Thursday September 29 and Thursday October 6, starting at 11 am from the Lews Castle car park.

Each walk will last approximately 90 minutes and focus on different areas of the Castle Grounds and the rich variety of mushrooms that grow there.
