A survey has been launched to help inform how Lochboisdale can be improved to encourage active travel on foot and two wheels.
The survey is the first step in drafting the Lochboisdale Active Travel Plan, a Comhairle nan Eilean Siar initiative being carried out by HITRANS (Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership) and contractor Arup.
The active travel plan aims to make Lochboisdale a more attractive, sustainable and inviting place for residents and visitors.
To help move the plan forward, the local community and stakeholders within Lochboisdale and surrounding areas are being asked for their views.
Among the issues being probed are the key barriers and opportunities that exist for walking, wheeling and cycling in Lochboisdale and where improvements can be made.
Survey respondents are also being asked what types of walking, wheeling and cycling improvements they would like to see.
If you would like to contribute to the survey, it can be accessed at https://forms.office.com/r/bu4fuTe422
The survey is open to all Lochboisdale residents and stakeholders, including school pupils.
