It's free movie night next Wednesday (June 29) at Lionacleit Library with the screening of topical British comedy, Grow Your Own.

The 2007 movie is described as a warm-hearted comedy with many well-known stars, including John Henshaw, Omid Djalili, Alan Williams, and Olivia Colman.

The plot revolves around a refugee family given some land to help rehabilitate their traumatised father. Predictably, perhaps, they are met with suspicion by local gardeners. But it all works out in the end through a mutual love of making things grow.
