Bragar and Arnol Community Trust is delighted to announce that Scott C. Park is set to play an acoustic show at Grinneabhat in Bragar on Friday 1 July.
Described as ‘the Western Isles' answer to Beck’, the Stornoway raised musician writes ‘country-tinged alt-pop’ which explores the themes of ‘identity, religion, and the weirdness of human behaviour’ - making an unmissable performance for fans of Bright Eyes, Pavement, Frightened Rabbit and Mac Demarco.
Scott will perform in Grinneabhat Àite-cèilidh cafe in the latest of the Grinneabhat Sessions series, following on from the hugely successful appearance of Josie Duncan earlier this year.
Scott is also to perform on the Islands Stage at Heb Celt 22 on July 14.
The Grinneabhat Community Programme is supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, HIE, Western Isles Development Trust, Community Land Scotland and The Robertson Trust.
