The applicant, Nye Stanning, ℅ Rural Design, Struan Road, Portree, is seeking planning permission to build a one storey home clad with larch.

Planning permission in principle is being sought to build a single storey home with a garage at 2 Aird, Balivanich.

Applicant Julie Smith of Shaftesbury Villas, Hull, stated that the house would be the only and main home in her application. The plot of land to be decrofted extends to 1980 square metres.

A decision is awaited on plans to erect an agricultural shed at Beach View Cottage, West Kilbride. The applicant is Neil Macdonald of  Kames, Tighnabruaich.
