Erect a house
Planning permission is being sought to erect a dwelling and detached workshop on land at 16 Perceval Road.
The site, which extends to 1116 square metres, is described as farmland, and the works include installing an air source heat pump.
The Comhairle has been notified of permitted development to the existing telecommunications mast at Battery Point, Stornoway.
The Wireless Infrastructure Group has informed the Comhairle that the mast is to be upgraded with the installation of a ringframe, relocation of three existing antennas and the installation of three new antennas.
Erect a garage
Plans have been submitted to the Comhairle to build a 6x9 metre steel frame garage at 7 Church Street, North Shawbost.
The applicant, Megan Macdonald of the same address, is seeking planning permission to erect the detached garage at the rear of the property.
Erect a converter station
Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc has submitted a pre-application notification of proposals to construct a high voltage direct current converter station, a 132 kV substation and associated plant and infrastructure.
The site to be developed is Area 3 of the Arnish Industrial Estate.
It is planned to hold a public consultation on the development on June 21 at the Cabarfeidh Hotel.

Planning consent is being sought to erect a house and detached garage at 27 Tong Road, Tong. The applicant, Murray Macinnes, of Finnieston Street, Glasgow, wishes to build on a 1301 square metre plot. The proposal is the construction of a single storey four-bedroom house.
The Comhairle has received an application to extend Cnoc Buidhe House, 41 Gress. Applicant Steve Barnes, of the same address, wishes to extend the front and rear of the property to create a sun lounge, a new bedroom and a bathroom.

A new house with an air source heat pump is being proposed for 21A North Tolsta. mmApplicant Innes Maciver of Easter Road, Edinburgh, wishes to build a two-storey, four-bedroom long house type home with a footprint of 136 square metres.
Community exhibition space
Back Community Council are seeking planning consent to develop the site of the former Back School into a community exhibition space. The proposals include office accommodation, a community polycrub, a tool shed, and an on-site historical exhibit in the form of a raiders' hut.
