Tarbert-based Essence of Harris is starring on the world stage again after a major award at a New York international gift fair. 

Company founder Jamie McGowan, who is at the show, said he was “absolutely delighted” to get a Best Product award in Beauty & Wellness.

And, of course, celebrities are among the crowds. Jamie met actress Jennifer Garner known for her performance as CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the spy-action thriller television series Alias for which she won a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in a Television Drama and received four consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
