The number of confirmed new Covid-cases fell to only four yesterday (Sunday November 14), by far the lowest daily figure for the month.  

The latest update from NHSWI Chief Executive Gordon Jamieson said all 4 cases were related to Lewis: 2 are off island, 1 is a new case and one is linked to existing cases.

"We vaccinated 994 people this weekend," he added

Orkney remains top of the regional list for Covid cases in Scotland but the Western Isles have now fallen to 14th.
