A 17-place motorhome site with additional camping is being proposed for a croft in Breasclete.
An application for the change of use of land at 35b Breasclete is pending consideration by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
The planning department validated the application on Tuesday (12 October).
The change of use would turn the agricultural land of the croft into a 17-pitch campervan site, with campsite pitches and an amenity building.
Hard standing with electric hook-ups would be provided for the vans, while a further grass area would allow for tents.
The amenity block includes toilets and showers, a washing up area and laundrette and office accommodation.
The application has been made by an agent on behalf of Donald J Morrison of 30b Breasclete. Neighbours were notified on Tuesday.
