This week sees the launch of the Outer Hebrides Housing Needs and Demand Assessment (HNDA).
Every household in the Outer Hebrides will receive an invitation to take part in this survey about Housing and Communities.
The independent survey is being carried out by Tighean Innse Gall (TIG) on behalf of Hebridean Housing Partnership.
There is also an online survey available to allow anyone who wishes to move home to the Outer Hebrides or to relocate here to take part. The online survey can be found here: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/HNDA-2021/
Some of our partners have taken the time to share why the survey is so important to them.
The video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMtzeG2jHr4
The results of this survey will inform the long term strategic decisions taken by Hebridean Housing Partnership on the future of their existing homes and on investment in new housing in our Communities.
HHP wish to support communities and grow our rural populations, so the outcomes will also be shared with the Comhairle and our key partners to shape and inform the future plans for the islands.
The survey will also look to identify people’s aspirations for where they want to live and the kind of housing they want.
We are grateful to everyone who takes part in the survey.
A prize draw will take place with a top prize of £100 Co-op voucher.
